At my National Day Rally last year, I said we would set up a Municipal Services Office (MSO) in the Ministry of National Development to improve the government’s delivery of services. We followed up, and the MSO is one year old this month.
MSO partnered IDA Singapore to launch a mobile app called OneService. The app makes it easy to report municipal issues such as a faulty traffic lights, litter and even wild animal sightings, so that they can be dealt with quickly. :) It also gives information on the weather as well as PSI readings.
The app has been popular, and 40,000 people have downloaded it and signed in already.
